I-5 Dhaba

Amazing! Don’t pass up! Portions are GENEROUS. Took dine out and ate the food within 15 minutes. It was a meal for two but we have enough for at least 5!

Excellent indian food for the price! I received more than I thought i would, for the money! It was well worth pulling off I-5 to get their delicious food! I will definetly be coming back next time I am traveling south on the I-5! Very fresh, flavorful and nice man who made my food! Thanks!

The chef here is incredibly kind, welcoming, and hardworking (he takes the order, clears the table, etc. too besides cooking). He offered us lassi on a hot day and the other things we ordered (kadai paneer, naan, and samosa chat) were all quite good too. Stopping here for a quick lunch was worth it.

It's a real hole-in-the-wall spot, but the food was incredibly tasty. Every dish was packed with flavor. The chef served the food with a warm smile, which made the experience even better. Generous portions and great value for money. Don’t miss this place if you’re nearby!

My first time trying, and it was very delicious. I got an order of butter chicken, rice, raita, and tandoori shrimp, some good basics you know? The employee helping me was very polite as well and had my meal ready promptly. It came very hot and fresh and neatly packaged as well as came with a side of various side veggies, and mukhwas. The rice portion is very generous, butter chicken was super tender + sizeable portion, the tandoori shrimp was nice and crispy, and raita tangy and fresh. Coming back to try more of the menu!!

I-5 Dhabba in Arbuckle is hands down one of the best roadside food experiences we’ve had! We ordered the mixed veg paratha, shahi paneer, and rotis — and every bite was incredible. The mixed veg paratha was packed with flavor, stuffed generously with a medley of well-seasoned vegetables, and perfectly crisped on the outside. You could tell it was made with care, straight off the tawa, piping hot and full of warmth — just like you’d get at a dhaba in North India. The shahi paneer was rich, creamy, and beautifully spiced — not overpowering, but indulgent in the best way. It paired so well with their rotis, which deserve a special mention — soft, slightly smoky from the tandoor, and served fresh out of the oven. You can actually taste the difference when it’s that fresh. This place is a must-stop if you’re anywhere along I-5. Comfort food at its finest, served with genuine hospitality. Can’t wait to go back!

While traveling the I5 I didn’t realize the restaurant choices were slim. I googled and found I5 Dhaba. It is located inside a Sinclair gas station with two other food options. (Which means take out or there are a couple of tables outside) Let me tell you - their tandoori chicken was THE BEST! The menu said “six pieces” for $12.99. Well, they didn’t mean five bite size cuts of chicken…they meant three legs and three thighs! And this perfectly seasoned meal melts in your mouth! The flavors taste like it has been marinating for days. We also ordered the butter naan, palak paneer which was good but not to the level of the chicken. The serving of basmati rice was enough for days! I highly recommend you check it out on your way through. Also, everything was cooked fresh on the spot! And the restroom was clean too
